Database of Mexican NGOsGo to list of Mexican NGOs For several years a list of Mexican non governmental organizations was hosted by Universidad de las Americas - Puebla (UDLA) in Mexico, and maintained by the office of Dr. Paul Rich from UDLA-Puebla and Stanford University. If anyone knew about, or was a member in a Mexican NGO (civil movement, not companies, etc.), Dr. Rich invited them to share this information by filling in a very short form online. The NGO was registered immediately and included on this list. Dr. Rich and his team hoped that this list would be useful for you investigations into Mexican civil society. Indeed it was. As search engines became more sophisticatd it became less useful and it is now closed, but maintianed here for historical use. Any suggestions or comments are extremely welcome and may be send by email to Dr. Paul Rich. When active maintainence ceased, the database had 54 Mexican Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) registered. In some respects they were pioneers in the use of the net and web. Fortunately, civil society and the use of the web has grown enormously in Mexico and so now there are many hundreds of organizations and sites. Go to list of Mexican NGOs
